Introduction: In class we will be doing a volleyball unit and I want everyone to have come with prior knowledge about volleyball before we start the unit. In this activity you will learn about the history, skills as well as other information. You are going to take this information you gather to make an organized table or diagram.

Information: In order for you to complete the activity you are going to visit three different websites that are all about volleyball. At each website I want you to gather as much information you can about volleyball. Try to find information on volleyball that you knew already as well as new information.

Activity: Answer the following questions to complete the activity.

1. Before you visit any websites I want you to create a table or web diagram on volleyball information that you already know. Include things like the history and skills. Label it before.

2. While looking at the volleyball websites be sure to write down on a sheet of paper any information about volleyball whether it is new information or things you already knew.

3. Take that sheet of paper from # 2 and create a table or web diagram that is well organized that includes all the information you have gathered on volleyball.
