PEC: Health and Physical Education Lesson Plans. The PE Central web site is a great resource. On first glance it is easy to use by choosing an area of PE. Then within that area, a teacher has the ability to refine the search even more by sub-category. This is a great resource for finding lesson plans on specific material.

This site is unique because not only does it contain PE lesson plans, it also contains lesson plans that have connections to other subject areas.

The lessons span different topics of physical education including improving motor skills and learning about the effects of exercise on the body.

LESSON PLANET – Many ‘Health’ related lesson plans reviewed by teachers. This web site gives extensive information on health and physical fitness lessons. It is easy to view and navigate. The site can be examined by list or narrowed by grade level and ratings given by other teachers. The downfall to this site is that you must be a member and it costs $19.95 for a year.
