Awesome Clip Art Sites

Microsoft Office Clip Art and Media Home Page – This is the web site that I most often use for clip art. I find it easy to access through both Microsoft Word and the internet. This site is great because besides clip art you can also download pictures, animations, and sounds. I have yet to use this site and not found something that would work in my projects and assignments. Check it out!

Clipart Connection – This site, though very busy, contains much information to access and download free clip art. Not only can you access clip art directly from this site, it also contains links to other web site for clip art. The site is a great resource for not only clip art but animations, photos, and other useful tools. Once you select clip art, the site is very user friendly. At this point the images are categories, but you can also place a search within each category. This site is close to the top of my list.

Barry’s Clipart Sever – This site is similar to Clip Art Connection. The layout and search methods are identical. This site however is a little easier to navigate with not as many distractions. Besides clip art this site also offers animations, photos, and links to other clip are web sites. Barry’s Clipart Server is a good way to get free clip art.

CoolArchive – Free clip art, fonts, icons, and much more! – This web site contains over 1000 free clip art images. Not as user friendly as the Microsoft Office Clip Art, however images are categorized making it easier to determine if what you are looking for will be found on the site. Also there are many annoying pop ups that come up when navigating the site.

#1 Free Clip Art – Over 10,000 free clip art images! – I find this site better than CoolArchive, because of the larger number of options in categories and in images found in each category. However, this site has the same problem as CoolArchive with numerous pop ups. Though the categories are helpful, I also do not like that there is not a search option.
