PROTEACHER

This is the online version of discussing lesson plans in the lunchroom!

This website is a community page for teachers.

It offers a great collection of lesson ideas for created by teachers, as well as discussions and blogs.

This website is a good resource for teachers.

It includes printable worksheets, lesson plans, and forums for collaboration.

It is easy to search and navigate. The downside is that there is an annual fee of $39.95

READING A-Z

This is a comprehensive database of printable books for each level of guided reading.

Follow-up activities are included. This is a great tool for teachers at schools where the book room is looking sparse!

This is a membership based site and there is a fee to join, but it is well-worth it.

GUIDED READING LEVEL SEARCH TOOL

Just type in a title, author, or genre to find the guided reading levels of books in a specific category.

You can also do a reverse search by level to find books on a specific reading level.

Students begin by choosing avatars for characters.

Then, they can plan the story elements by choosing the problem, the setting, the characters feelings, etc.
