Bibliography

As a college Spanish professor, my time is limited with the students in class, as they are expected to learn much on their own. However, I wanted to compile a list of places they could use for help and additional practice. Time is also limited in culture lessons so I tried to include some sites where they could explore travel, art, literature, music, and entertainment. In the level 111 class, students must investigate and create a presentation, oral and Power Point, about a famous Hispanic person. I have included several sites to help those students find information about those individuals. However, they do need to be cautious as some of the sites provide links to ‘fan’ sites, especially for the music and sports people. Lastly, I included a link to the Universidad de Navarra. I am often asked if I have ever studied in Spain or a Spanish-speaking country. Now they can actually see the program that I completed for my Diploma de Estudios Hispanicos as well as the city where I lived. It is my hope that this bibliography will be of great help and interest to my students. I plan to provide this bibliography as an ‘External Links’ on the course Blackboard site.
