Objective                 Students will be able to use the computer as a tool for making classroom management tasks easier. (ISTE Standard – Productivity and Professional Practice)

 

Introduction            Classroom management is probably the biggest obstacle that teachers face when they first begin teaching.  Classroom Management includes daily procedures, problem resolution, leadership, and motivation.  Technology can be very helpful in managing your classroom throughout the year.

 

Activity                    To begin, learn more about your own classroom management style by visiting Indiana University’s Teacher Talk page and taking the “What is your classroom management profile?” quiz.  http://education.indiana.edu/cas/tt/v1i2/what.html

 

                                    Now that you have an idea about your own management style, you will visit websites to research ways that technology can help you manage your classroom.
