Sample Itinerary
DAY ONE
Baltimore's has a lot of places for art lovers. Begin your day
with a walk through Mt. Vernon. Here you will
find the Walters Art Museum. It has over 30,000 pieces of art from five different
continents! It is one of America's greatest museums. It even has armor, old paintings,
and fancy eggs with jewels on them. Next, go to the
American Visionary Art Museum. This huge museum has an outdoor
garden and lots of art. End your day
with a trip to Mount Airy where you can explore the Berrywine Plantations.
A tour guide will explain how to make wine. This plantation even has music
events and picnics.
DAY TWO
Maryland's largest art museum is the Baltimore Museum of
Art. It has a lot of art, shows and special events. It also has things for children to do. You
will even find paintings by Picasso and Van Gogh here. For a great afternoon,
we suggest you travel to the country. The Ladew Topiary Gardens' has 15 gardens! Finish your day with a show at one
of Baltimore’s dinner theaters. Timonium Dinner Theatre is Baltimore's only family owned and operated dinner theatre. It is located just twenty minutes from the Inner Harbor and has live shows and great food.
DAY THREE
Begin your day at Baltimore Clayworks. This ceramics center has pottery
and ceramics that you can buy for a souvenir.
Then, go downtown to the Thomas Kinkade Gallery where you can buy beautiful art. End
your trip by relaxing at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the
Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Listen to beautiful music. We hope that you will enjoy
