Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Web page! Allow me to tell you a little bit about my decision to pursue the field of education. My passion for teaching began long ago, yet I am only now learning about teaching as a career. I was always interested in teaching, but ambition led me to explore other career paths. When I graduated first in my undergraduate marketing class, I thought that the world was waiting for me to conquer it. Yet, the business world was not all I believed it to be. My desire to teach grew stronger and stronger as I yearned for a rewarding career, not one based on money and politics.

So, here I am now, a graduate student working toward my Master’s degree and certification in elementary education. My first year has been incredible as I have learned so much about the world of education and have worked with children on a regular basis. The time spent learning about and working with children has been amazing and I know that I have finally made the right career choice. Please see my educational philosophy for my views on education and teaching.

Teaching, much like life, is a learning process. As time passes, I will better discover my unique teaching style and viewpoints.
