We have discussed many
practice settings where occupational therapists practice. We have also discussed general treatment
planning for each of the diagnostic groups.
For this activity you will develop a treatment plan of your own.
Directions:
- Select a
practice setting, diagnosis, and specific treatment intervention. You may get ideas from the American Occupational Therapy Association
or Advance
for Occupational Therapists websites.
- Use a flow
chart to represent a treatment intervention. Consider if the patient’s response is positive or negative
as the patient progresses through the session.
- You may use
the flow chart below or design your own.
- Be prepared
to discuss your treatment session with the class
