one of the largest, containing over 8 billion pages. The topic availability seems endless. It is also the fastest, even providing the option of “I’m feeling
lucky” which takes you directly to the first web page for your query. The young and old easily navigate this
site.
Yahoo: Yahoo makes the Top Picks list due to
the organization of the site and links to over 3 billion indexed websites. Yahoo contains many quick links to
information such as: dictionary,
finance, music and travel to name a few.

Designed for patients and medical
professionals alike it contains general and specific information regarding
thousands of medical conditions. This
site is well organized and easy to navigate.
They boast medically trustworthy information that is always a concern when
retrieving such sensitive material from the web. This resource comes with no associated cost! This makes it tops for me!

government. Easily navigated by all age
groups it provides overview information as well as answers to specific questions
citizens have. This site earns its
place on the tops list for its ease of navigation and design.
Exes: With direct links to E-bay, Orbitz and Travelocity travel rates and
location comparison becomes easy for the user.
There are also direct links to related sites and most frequently
visited. This is particularly appealing
to the new user. This site makes it to
the tops list due to its appeal to the novice traveler and ease of use.
