A prerequisite to OCTH:226 Physical Disabilities is a firm knowledge base of the origins, insertions, and actions of the muscles in the human body.  This information was discussed thoroughly in OCTH:206 Analysis of Human Performance.  This web- based activity will serve as a review of the muscular anatomy of the human body.  You will need to consider how these muscles are utilized in performing self-care activities.

  1. What is the origin, insertion, and action of the brachioradialis muscle? What is the importance of this muscle in performing upper extremity dressing?
