Web Dropin Activity #1 – This web activity is a language arts activity that deals with the book Jacob Have I Loved.  The activity ask the students to use search engines from the internet to find exact directions of how to locate this remote island off the  coast of  Crisfield Maryland.  Fun and a great way to use their knowledge of the internet.  http://www2.mcdaniel.edu/slm/student/obendorfert/dropin1.htm

Web Dropin Activity #2 – The web activity continues with the same book as in the first dropin.  Now that the students have an understanding of where the island is located they now have to research information about it.  It is a remote island off the coast of Crisfield Maryland, the people and the environment that they life in is very different then ours.  The students will enjoy looking at pictures and learning about the people that inhabit beautiful Tilghman Island.
