a LOT of time creating new worksheets, quizzes, activities, etc. to use in
their classrooms. Fortunately, there are
now MANY websites that provide teachers with these instructional tools, so they
don’t need to waste hours upon hours “reinventing the wheel”. Many sites even offer tools that allow you to
customize your own worksheets to fit your particular lessons. Hooray for technology!!! These are some of the best resources that I
found for secondary English teachers.
Englishcompanion.com- This site offers worksheets for a variety of topics that are
very useful in the English classroom.
The best part about this site is that it contains an assortment of
graphic organizers/charts for students to organize their reactions, insights,
and analyses of class material and literature.

edHelper.com- This is
a wonderful instructional resource to find vocabulary, grammar, and reading
worksheets. Limited resources are
available without memberships, but from the sample pages, it appears well worth
