Healthy Minded Diets?

Introduction

With so many fad diets in today’s world, how is it possible to choose which one is best for you?  Should carbohydrates be avoided to lose weight?  If I cut down on sugars, can I eat steak and eggs all day?  Are there any health issues I should be concerned about?  There are many diets to choose from, and it is up to you to decide which ones are most beneficial for lifetime health. 

 

Activity

For this activity, you will visit the following websites below and compare and contrast the 3 different types of diets.  Write a 2 page response to the articles.  Your response must include:

  1. Summary of each diet
  2. Are there any health issues raised?
  3. What are your thoughts?
  4. Would you consider using any of these diets?  Why or why not?
  5. What do you think makes a good diet?
