Aerobic vs. Anaerobic Exercises

By the end of this activity, you will be able to understand the differences between aerobic and anaerobic exercises.  By comparing and contrasting the two, you will understand the benefits of incorporating both types of exercises into your routine.  Knowing that both are equally important for overall physical strength and stamina will help in improving life long health.

Visit the following website and read the directions below.

AEROBIC AND ANAEROBIC EXERCISES

For this activity, you are going to click on the link above and visit the website.  On this website you will read the article titled, “Kinds of Exercises”.  After reviewing the article, you will design an exercise program for one week based on 5 days of workout and 2 days of rest.  For your exercise program, you will include the day of the week, duration of exercise (in minutes), time of the day, type of activity, and type of exercise (aerobic or anaerobic).  Remember, you must show a good balance of both aerobic and anaerobic exercises along with a variety of activities.  Also, try to include activities that you enjoy.
