of great information and resources for finding lesson plans that will be
extremely valuable in the classroom. The following sites have a brief
description of the site for you to read, review, and search. Use these links to assist with lesson plans
and also becoming a more successful teacher.
This web site has over 3,500
free lesson plans for teachers. Teachers can search for lesson plans by subject
or by grade level. There is also a
lesson plan guide which lists the 10 steps to developing a quality lesson plan.
There is also quick access to teacher discussions, math worksheets, most recent
additions, seasonal lesson plans, and science projects. An amazing feature that
is offered on this site is HotChalk which is a learning management system where
there is a library of teacher lesson plans, digital content, and professional
development for teachers in a web-based environment. HotChalk connects
students, parents, and teachers and together everyone can help improve
education. This site is easily navigated with useful information and quality
lesson plans.

This is a great site that
offers free timely lessons and units for all grade levels and for all your
teaching needs. The site offers the best lessons of the season near the top of
the page and then you can search by grade level or subject for a specific
lesson plan. Once a lesson plan is selected it lists the subject, grade,
duration, unit plan, objectives, materials, directions, and then it also lists
the author of the lesson plan and any awards they have won. At the bottom of
the lesson plan page there are related resources, related articles, and online
activities. Scholastic offers quality lesson plans and the site is very easy to
use. This is a great site for teachers who are looking for new lesson plan
ideas or themes!

This web site has free lesson
plans written by the teachers for the teachers. There are hundreds of original
lesson plans for students in elementary, middle, or high school. The site is
easy to use; just click the age level and subject of the lesson plan you are
searching for and a list of related lesson plans will appear. Once you click on
the lesson plan there is an in-depth explanation of the lesson plan listing the
objective, materials, procedures, evaluation, vocabulary, academic standards,
credit, and also the duration of the lesson plan. This site would be a very
valuable resource and useful site for teachers.

This is a great website for
finding lesson plans for all grade levels and for general classroom resources.
PBS teachers is an easy to use site and has quality lesson plans available for
teachers. At the top of the page you
select which grade level you are interested in and then a drop down appears
with different subjects that are offered. Once selected the site gives the lesson
plan overview, its shows the grade level and subject area, and learning
objectives materials. You are also given a list of recommended websites to
visit that contain information regarding the subject you are teaching.

grade level or the subject and you will be directed to another page with
numerous lesson plans and a brief description of each to choose from. Once a
lesson plan is selected the site then lists the objective, the materials
needed, and the plan. This site is easy to use and has unlimited number of helpful
sites and lesson plans for teachers to explore!
