I chose them using the following criteria:

Text Box: Discovery School Clipart Gallery http://school.discovery.com/clipart/index.html Browse this site for graphics that are very school oriented. Find categories such as Health, Science, Math, and Language Arts. The clipart is mostly black and white and would be great for making worksheets and newsletters. There are also color graphics for web design. There is an option to see all clipart in a category on one page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: Pics4Learning http://www.pics4learning.com/ You have to visit this site! It is easy to navigate and comprised mostly of photographs. There are awesome science photos of fossils, spacecraft, and more. If you are trying to look for an obscure picture or graphic, try here. The holiday section not only includes Thanksgiving, but also Ramadan. You can browse pictures by large thumbnail view or by a detailed view. You can also search using keywords.

Text Box: Classroom Clipart http://classroomclipart.com/ This site has almost 37,000 images in over 1,000 categories. You will find what you are looking for here! There is a great mix of clipart, drawings, and photographs. You can browse the categories and subcategories or you can do a keyword search. The only problems it doesn’t fit the annoying pop-up criteria. One perk of buying a membership is there are no ads or pop-ups.

Text Box: Microsoft Office Clipart and Media http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx?lc=en-us This site is very convenient if you have Microsoft Office. You can link directly to it when using the Insert a Picture command. It has a good variety of clipart, photographs, sounds, and animations. You can browse by category or do a keyword search. When using the search tool, you may limit you search by the media type.
