Science #2 Science lesson plans with connections to other subjects. The topics are Astronomy, Atmosphere & Weather, Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Geology, and Physics. They also offer plans that science connects to other subjects – Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, Computers & Internet, and Art. The plans are mainly experiments. Science #3 This site isn’t as friendly as the other two. The categories are not as easily accessible and do not offer a wide range of information. However, I do feel it is worth taking a look at for some ideas that maybe were not found in the other locations. You may have to dig a little deeper to find what is needed. Math

Math #1 The lesson plans offered here are a great resource for all the basic math of operations including fractions and decimals. There are place value, patterns and geometry plans. The great thing about this site is after each plan there is an online game that the student can do to practice the new skills that were taught. Math #2 This site is the same as the Science #3 site above. Again it is limited but it does offer some great ideas. The topics are Fractions & Decimals, Geometry & Measurement, Patterns & Relationships, Whole Number Operations, Cross- Curricula (integrating with other subjects) and Teacher Practices (how to use manipulative).  Date visited: 2/28/05 http://www.proteacher.com/100000.shtml

Social Studies

Social Studies #1 I really like this site. It not only includes lesson plans but also a list of resources to use with the plans. It may not cover everything in the Social Studies curriculum, but there are a lot of great ideas. Date visited: 2/28/05 http://teacherlink.ed.usu.edu/tlresources/units/byrnesF2000/aaindex.htm

Language Arts

Language Arts #1 This site contains a broad range of topics in the Language Arts subject. It mainly focuses on writing and grammar skills. There are about 50 different lesson plans. Date visited 2/28/05 http://www.col-ed.org/cur/lang.html

Language Arts #2 This site connects reading a book with writing and other activities. Some of the plans have links to sites that the students will use during the lesson. Some of the plans are integrated with other subjects, such as social studies and science. Date visited: 2/28/05 http://www.proteacher.com/070093.shtml
