Internet Safety

            In attempt to make computer use safer, I have created a Letter to Parents to inform parents of the precautions used to keep their child safe while using the internet at school.

            I have also included a “contract” which contains the expectations of the students while operating the computers. Also included is the guideline of what the student should do if obscene or lewd material is accidentally accessed. This “contract” must be signed by both the student and parent.

            By having both student and parent sign the “contract” attached to the letter to parents, I have created an opportunity for the parents to discuss with their children what they expect from them also.
