Welcome to our unit on states! The United States of America includes 50 states. Each state is very unique. In this activity, you will be visiting a website to research any ten U.S. States. Choose any 10 states you wish to study. These might be states you have visited or want to visit some day. Find the capital of the state and the nickname of the state. List the information under the states name in your Social Studies journals. Log on to http://www.infoplease.com/states.html to begin your search. The site will ask you to click on a state. It will then give you the information on that state. Enjoy your search!
