Web Link Bibliography

The following  sites are intended as a resource for teachers of Pre-Algebra and Algebra.  There are many useful lesson plans, student interactive activities, worksheets and common questions about algebra. There are also interactive sites to assist children in memorizing their facts - an important skill to master before conquering algebra.

1. Ask Dr. Math- This site is an excellent resource for students to view common questions asked by other students regarding algebra.
Students may also ask questions on this site.  Date visited- 2/29/04

3. Math Mastery.com- This site allows the student to answer the basic math facts while being timed.  Although it is not algebra, I felt it
was important because so many students in middle school have not learned the basic math facts and will find algebra a much greater     struggle. The site presents the facts in a fun way that will feel like a game, hopefully having the student practice for longer periods of     time.
