The following five Web sites are useful sources of lesson
plans for teachers of middle school math. Yahoo and Google was used
to conduct a web search and these are my favorites:

Illuminations.com-
This site assists in creating effective Standards-based mathematics lessons.
The National Council of teachers of mathematics developed this site to go
along with the national standards. Now with the No Child Left Behind
Federal law in effect, it is important to be up on the standards and to teach
lessons that have activities that are made to these standards.

activities include Pinellas County Secondary Mathematics teachers, the Jump
Start Algebra Summer Program, and the Opening the Gate project, a statewide
funded initiative that began in 1992. Teacher and student versions of each
activity are provided. These lesson plans can be viewed in two ways. To view
a web version of the resources click on the buttons. To view the lesson
plans in a printable version click on the buttons. The Adobe Acrobat
Reader plug-in is required to view these documents. Go to the Adobe site
