Five Great Clip Art Sites for Teachers

 

Teacher Teachers can use these websites to find great clip art for websites, worksheets, or other classroom tools.

Barry’s Clip Art – This clip art site has pictures from education to clothes.  Teachers can use this for worksheets, websites, or classroom bulletin boards.  It is easy to navigate and search for a particular clip. - http://www.barrysclipart.com

 

 

#1 Free Clip Art – A great website for teachers and students.   This website has clips of astronomy, technology, and Halloween pictures.  You can find many different pictures for any specific topic on this site. - http://www.1clipart.com/

 

 

 

Teacher Files.com – Although this website does not have a large amount of clips, the ones that it does have are of good quality and are unique.  Specific to this site, teachers can find various text boxes for use on a worksheet, website, or other classroom tool.  There are also several animated clips that can be downloaded. - http://www.teacherfiles.com/clip_art.htm

 

 

Discovery School.com – Teachers can buy clips on this websites, but do not have too.  There are some outstanding clips that can simply be downloaded or saved onto your website or worksheet.  Animated clips are found on this site as well. - http://school.discovery.com/clipart/

 

 

 

Microsoft Online – This website can be found when searching for clip art in Microsoft Word.  It is easy to navigate and teachers can find great clip art on this site.  Different from the other sites, you can only add this to your clip art folder in Microsoft Word.  After adding and naming it to your clip art folder you can insert the picture to your document.  There are some great clips on this site, but you must have Microsoft Word. - http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx?lc=en-us
