Information:
In
our high school English class we will be studying the works of William
Shakespeare. In order to better
understand Shakespeare, each student will be responsible for researching the
Internet and finding 15 interesting facts about him. The list of facts will be typed in Microsoft
Word and placed on a poster to be displayed in the classroom.
Because
there is so many Shakespeare related sites, here is a list of reputable,
recommended, and easy to use sites containing valuable information.

Book
This site provides
insight to William Shakespeare as a person, his personal life, childhood,
poems, and works.

Activity:
After
visiting each of the recommended sites, take notes and write a list of
interesting facts about William Shakespeare.
Type your list in Microsoft Word and then place the list on a poster
(construction paper, poster board, etc.).
You will be presenting your poster to the class. Try to thoroughly explore each site to find
the most accurate and interesting facts.
By learning about William Shakespeare as a person, you will better
appreciate his works.
