Using clip art is a fast and easy to way to make a web page or document more attractive to your audience.  I have visited many clip art sites and have listed my favorites below.  You will find a sample from each site, a description of that site’s collection, and a link to the site.

Barry’s Clip Art Server – This site has many types of cute, free clip art. There are twenty four categories to choose from, including agriculture, clothes, outdoors and kids. Date visited: 2/18/2006. http://www.barrysclipart.com/

Discovery School’s Clip Art Gallery – This site from the Discovery Channel offers a lot of great kid friendly clip art for students, parents, and teachers.  There are twenty categories to choose from such as fun and games, social studies, animated clips, and food. Classroom Clipart – This site has a very large collection of clip art, both realistic looking clip art and cartoons. Microsoft Clip Art Gallery – This is the clip art collection I use the most because it has the largest and easiest to search collection of any site I have seen.  There are many types of media available including clip art.  You can browse clip art categories or conduct a search to find clip art on almost any topic.  Date visited – 2/18/2006. http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx?lc=en-us
