Investigating Colonial
America
Are you ready to be a historian? We
will continue our study of Colonial America today by stepping into the shoes of
historians. Follow the link below to learn about the lives of American
colonists, the Wampanoag tribe, and how these two groups interacted with one
another.

1. Go through the activities on the site.
2. Print the graph below, or draw one on your own paper.
3. Use the graph to record what you learn about the colonists, the Wampanoag, and what they had in common. Some facts you will want to include are foods they ate, what they did for entertainment, jobs people did, and how these groups felt about each other.
4. Many people believe myths about this time period that are not true. On the back of your paper, write down anything surprising you learned about these groups and the first Thanksgiving to share with the group.
