This weekly newsletter provides summaries of lesson plans that have been recently published on Education World’s web site. Each week has one or two lesson planning themes along with a week’s worth of daily lesson plans. Other weekly features include strategy of the week, classroom management tips, tech tips of the week and a weekly survey for teachers. I love the idea of being able to review lesson plans submitted by other teachers. I believe that teachers should strive to keep their lessons fresh and exciting and these lesson plans will help me do that. The added features included in each newsletter are also very interesting and helpful.
eSchool News Online – eSN Tools for Schools and eSN Today.
These two email newsletters provide a wealth of information from the educational technology community. eSN Tools for Schools provides links to Best Practices, Special Reports, Announcements from product and service providers and a Site of the Week. It also provides resources for educators and a weekly poll. eSN Today publishes news stories related to educational technology. Although these newsletters contain many interesting stories and sites, the information is sometimes overwhelming. Often two to three emails are received each day, a pace that makes it difficult to keep up with.
