Web quest List

This is a great web quest for second graders.  There are many activities to work on.  The activities range from reading to making burritos and piñatas.  There are many links to Internet sources.  All of the Internet links work but one.  The web quest is lively and interesting to look at.

Planet Web Questplanet

This web quest is really for third graders.  In second grade, we study planets.  I could use this web quest with my above grade students.  There were many fun activities for students complete along with research activities.  The links seemed to still work.  There was also a lot of teacher information given at the end of the web quest.

This web quest is based off of The Grouchy Ladybug book.  It is a short web quest that younger students can do.  The activities are fun and not that hard.  I would use it with my lower readers.  There is one major link that does not work but it is one that is easy to replace.

BE A WEB SITE SLEUTH !

This is a great web quest to introduce your students to web quests.  It is short and easy to complete.  The activity is to look at four web pages and get a little bit of information from each.  The web pages are ones that students will want to look at and are kid friendly.

Are Chickens the Only Ones?

This is a great website for young learners or lower readers.  The activity in the web quest is to have the students make a book about animals.  The bad thing with this web quest is that a lot of the links do not work.  They are links that would be easy to replace.
