Course Module

Rubrics

Objectives:

The students will be able to create rubrics using online rubric makers.

The students will be able to describe the best and worst aspects of a rubric creator.

Introduction:

Rubrics have become a very important part of the learning process.    They allow a student to guide his/her work.  They also help to set high expectation for students.  Rubrics can also be time consuming to make.  There are many parts to rubrics and it is difficult to know if you have covered all the material when you make one.  This course module will help you so you do not have to reinvent the wheel.

Articles:

To gain a better understanding of rubrics and how they are useful, read the three articles on rubrics.
