The Three Little Pigs

It is important to not always
believe everything you read and to be aware of the differences in stories. We are all familiar with the story of The
Three Little Pigs and could probably retell the story in our head. That would mean it was our own version of the
story. Let’s take a look at two different versions of the story to compare and
contrast the two.
Directions:
1. Read both versions of the
story, The Three Little Pigs
2. Complete either a double
bubble diagram OR a Venn-diagram (your choice)
3. Included in your diagram
should contain the following information on each story
•the
main characters (4 for each)
•where
it took place and when it took place (3 for each)
•main
events (3 each)
4. Be sure to have at least 5
similarities between the two stories
5. Once you have completed
your diagram you may begin to illustrate on a separate sheet a paper, a picture
of either story of your choice
*At the end of the lesson we
will begin to create our own version of the Three Little Pigs so begin to think
of ideas and characters you want to keep the same and those you want to change!
