Summary
The list below contains valuable websites. I have found these five websites to be excellent resources for my future as an elementary school educator. Since I will be qualified to teach grades 1-6, I am assuming that I will be teaching all subjects to my class. This made my research in finding resource websites very broad. However, I had great success in finding websites that have great lesson plans. From my extensive research, I have selected the websites that I feel have the best lesson plan information.
School Discovery- This site is a great resource for teachers! It has many different types of lesson plans, everything from everyday Math to animal classification. The areas of study are unique and the lesson plans are very original. The lesson plans include games and material to keep your class interested! Games are wonderful for keep the attention of students that are in grades 1-6.

The Lesson Plans Page - Over 2,500 FREE Lesson Plans!- This site is a great place to find lesson plans for every subject. It allows you to search by grade level and then by subject. It has so many different lesson plans for every chapter you try to teach to your class. Examples include addition, subtraction and multiplication lessons. These are valuable for elementary school teachers. This site is so detail-orientated.

The Teacher's Corner - Teacher Resources - Lesson Plans- This site presents lesson plans that were submitted by teachers around the country. The site is very user-friendly and doesn’t have an overwhelming amount of information. However, it has a wide variety of ideas for lesson plans. It has lesson plans that include music, which is great for elementary students. It also has many other great ideas and resources for teachers as well.

Lesson Plan Finder TeacherVision.com- This site is especially unique because it offers lessons plans for not just k-2 or 3-5 but for 1st graders or second graders. The lessons are geared towards a specific grade. They also organize these plans by topics and then by themes. For example, one lesson that would be helpful for elementary students would be seasons. They have specific lessons for teaching the seasons. This site is clear and concise.

LessonPlanZ.com - Lesson Plans & Lesson Plan Resources for Teaching Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Thematic Units, Themes, Classroom Activities - preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school- This site will guide you to an assortment of lesson plans for elementary students. It has an abundance of information. It elaborates about ways to teach very specific concepts. These include elementary school topics such as “The Thirteen Colonies” and “The United States Map.” This also has a bonus chat forum for teachers.
