The following is a list of sites that contain
lesson plans for Elementary School teachers. The sites contain lesson plans on a
variety of topics and subjects.
Discovery School: Discover School is provided by the Discover Channel. Through this site an elementary school
teacher can find lessons on a variety of subjects. Each lesson plan provides a teacher with
a list of supplies, procedures, and a way of evaluating student performance.
Educator’s Reference Desk: The Educator’s Reference Desk allows a
teacher to view lesson plans created by other teachers. Through this site teachers can search
for specific topics at the different grade levels. They can also search for lesson plans
through categories provide by the website.
Lesson Plan Page: This
page provides teachers with over 2,500 free lesson plans. When a teacher logs on to this site they
first must pick a subject. Once
they have chosen the subject they must choose the appropriate grade level. The
site then provides a wide range of lesson plans that involve the specific
subject.
The Teacher’s Corner: The Teacher’s Corner is very similar to the
previous websites. It provides
teachers with a lesson plans for a variety of subjects and topics. Once a teacher picks a subject, the site
provides them with a list of different lesson plans and activities to use with
their students.
Good Character: Many teachers have to instruction children how to interact correctly
with other individuals along with teaching children the basic subjects. This site provides teachers with lesson
plans and activities that involve the different aspects of developing a good
character.
