Introduction: There are many styles of art throughout history. Styles have an effect on artists and artists effect the way we look at art. They can change the way we look at the world. An artist has the ability to change an art style through their work.

Information: You will take a Virtual Tour on Impressionism. You will read about the way art was viewed and how artists changed that view. You will attempt to understand the characteristics of an Impressionist painting. Then you will find more information on Impressionism in The Wonderful Styles of Art site and the Sanford site. Also while at these two sites you will read about Post-Impressionism and Realism.
