Hi, my name is Mrs. Floyd, and I am very excited to be your new media specialist. I am looking forward to working with the staff, students, and community members to create a dynamic media center program that meets your needs. Before becoming a media specialist, I was an elementary school teacher. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the classroom, I am thrilled to be starting this new chapter in my professional career. I live with my husband and our two children in Gaithersburg, MD. We also have an adorable labradoodle named Lambeau.
