Translation of the English Language!
In this exercise I need to m
ake a list with descriptions of 5 instructional situations in which translation would be a valuable tool.1) In teaching and learning a math class. In Math class it would be easy, you would not need that many words to tell someone the basics of how to do a problem and normally, numbers are pretty universal.
2) If you were trying to give directions to a tourist. If you are trying to tell someone where to find the hotel. You do not want to send them to McDonalds.
3) If you needed to order food. You need to be able to tell them what you want and they need to be able to understand what you want. You do not want to order pizza and coke and get cow innards and milk.
4) If you needed to pay a bill, you need to know exactly how much cash to pay someone.
5) If you wanted to explain how an artist thoughts and feeling went into his art work. And what it meant to him as to why he painted the picture.
Below I have taken a sentence from the English language and translated it into German and French.
