What is the Internet used for?

Objective: The student will read, online, some of the uses of the ways the Internet has become to be used.

Introduction: The idea of this module is to learn some of the uses that the Internet has been used for. Such as, phone calls, Instant messaging, Downloading MP3 files, and of course research. There are many more uses for the Internet. The student will research the uses of the web and then write a summary about what they think the next popular use of the Internet will be.

Activity: Do some reading of what uses the Internet has today. You will need to cite at least two sources of information. Preferably web sites or articles you found doing web research. You then need to write a 250 word summary as to what uses you have found for the Internet and also come up with some predictions as to what you think is next for the Internet to be used for?
