Lesson Planning Web Sites

I used the phrase "Middle School Lesson Plans" for my search criteria. I used dogpile, Google and Yahoo for my search engines.

Teacher’s Place – This is a wonderful site. Full of very useful information. Not just used for lesson plans. They have a ton of information for math teachers to use. The site is not just for middle school plans; it has information for K-12 grades. This looks to be my first go to site for math information when I teach.

PBS Teacher Source – This site is not just for math lessons. But it has lesson plans for multiple subjects.

You can browse by grade level or topic to pull up your lesson plans.

Many of the lessons include web drop-ins as well or a video to go with it. This site would make a great computer lab project for math class!

The Lesson Plan Library – This location has lesson plans for grades k-12 also. This seems like a really professional site. Put together well with many good ideas for teachers. This site has lesson plans for multiple subject areas.

http://www.goodcharacter.com/MStopics.html lesson plans for all subject Areas. I used this before with evaluating a teachers web site and liked it so much I am including it here also.

Very well organized and easy to use. No ads, just the basics of what you came here for, lesson plans!

Teaching Guides – This site provides lesson plans for life skills. Not something I have seen too much of before. This goes along with what I hold as something we need to be doing as teachers, teaching kids about life! Not just Math, Science and English!
