Remember that tree we had to cut down that was beside the house?

Well, your spouse had a WONDERFUL idea! In this exercise we are going to use that scrap wood to build a log play house for the kids!

What we need to know is how many logs do we need to make the four sides of the building if we want the building to be 8 feet tall and about 8 feet long. Lets figure on the logs we are using to be about 2 feet in diameter and 4 feet long.

We will be able to put the logs together with fasteners. We need to use a new fastener every 16 inches.

To keep this simple, we can assume the floor will be made of 4x8 sheets of plywood.

So, we need to know how many fasteners, sheets of plywood and tree logs we need to complete this project. Give me a list of materials. Include item count and descriptions. Also, I need a diagram of the walls and floors of how you will build this and show me the fastener spacings on the diagram as well.
