Purplemath – This page is great for anyone who needs help with their Algebra homework. It has many examples and takes you very easily step by step through explicit examples of how to do the problems. It also lists additional sites for algebra help.

Ask Dr. Math – This is a great page for getting math questions answered. They will not give you an answer but will help you get unstuck. This site has math up to and including calculus. They have sections on Statistics and Geometry and Discrete Mathematics.

A+ Math

A + Math is a site that offers lots of things to do with math. It has memory games as well as an interactive homework helper. It has some great visual aids for working on math also under the worksheet section.

Algebra.help – This site is pretty much for Algebra one students. It has a lot of good step by step instructions and details. It also provides calculators online. This site also has some very good lesson details.

Algebra Homework Help at Algebra.Com – This site is very interactive. It does look very scary to navigate with all the information on the main page. It has a nice SAT/ACT prep area as well. Date last visited – 5/29/05

Go Math – This site has pre-algebra help as well as algebra help. It also has help for Physics and Geometry problems as well. Has some nice diagrams as well as interactive solution solving pages as well.

Introduction to Algebra-- This is a good site for those just starting with Algebra. A good review or just good information for those having trouble with Algebra one. Some good basic examples and explanations. Not any pictures so tuff to read through.

Calc101 – This is obviously and advanced math help page. It provides good help for Calculus and Linear Algebra classes. This is a WONDERFUL help page due to the fact that it has Animated Graphics AND a voice that talks your through the information. Specifically my second link here has the calculus help linked.

Goemastas – This is a very good site for self-help. They have many interactive questions and provide good explanations. It is meant for Geometry beginners.

Math.com The World of Math Online

This site also has some interactivity with it. This site is loaded with information for all math questions all the way through Calculus. It provides calculators and has practice sheets and quizzes to test your knowledge.

Yahooligans – This is a great site for kids. It is an offshoot of Yahoo and offers lots of information for kids. The math part can be found under "School Bell" link and then under the math section. It also offers access to online help from other students.

Free Math Help – This is a good site for definitions and examples of formulas and how to do problems. It also links into another site I have posted math.com. It also has links to other web sites.

Geometry – This site is a great help for all levels of Geometry! Not many diagrams but does a good job of explaining things about geometry.

Geometry About – This site is more geared towards helping teachers. It has articles and places to buy books. It has lots of information but not always complete in its lists.

Algebra Online -- This is site is advertising a software product they sell that can be used online for Algebra help. The neat thing I saw here was they have a chat room and a message board you can use for help!

Math League Multimedia – This site provides teachers with a resource to purchase software for lesson planning and basic teaching. It has software for 6th grade math and for Grades 4 through 8.
