Introduction:

Creating web drop in activities using Word is a safe and simple process. However, there are limitations when using Word to create web pages. Therefore, it is time to think outside that safe Word ÒboxÓ and look at another option for web page development in the form of Netscape Composer.

Netscape Composer is free and downloadable from the Internet, available to both PC and Mac users. It affords more flexibility and options for web page design. Therefore, it is worthwhile for students to become familiar with and knowledgeable on the basics for creating web pages with Netscape Composer.

Assignment:

If you havenÕt done so already, download Netscape from http://www.netscape.com/. Find Composer in the pull-down menu in ÒWindowsÓ.
