writing section includes writing prompts, persuasive, narrative,
expository, and descriptive writing, outlining, report writing, and more. www.edhelper.com/writing.htm

friend!Ó It just might become yours! Not only does it have good writing
worksheets and resources, it also covers a myriad of other educational
areas. As for writing, its Writing Bug is a bright green bug with lots of
creative writing prompts for your students. Each worksheet includes this

- Creative Writing
prompts - The writing prompts on this website are often humorous
and/or mysterious. Along with the writing prompts, teachers can read or
contribute to the creative writing story starters thread for more ideas.

- Dositey
- K-8 studentsÕ worksheets cover topics such as book reports, creative
writing prompts, proverbs, and comparisons. There is a writersÕ workshop
that offers a monthly topic for students to write about and then submit
their essays. http://www.dositey.com/language/readwrite34.htm?pgrade=58
- Fresh Squeezed Creative
Writing Juices – Though the creator of this website provides
links to only 4 story starters for grades 2-5, each link includes 1
written story prompt, 1 picture clue, and 1 audio (music) clue; so it
really appeals to different learning styles. The worksheet is a printable
that is best used with the website, so as to use the music component.
Although the website recommends this for grades 2-4, it seems more
appropriate for grades 4 and up. http://www.lessontutor.com/jmstorystarters.html
