This site is
comprehensive in education including information on signs and symptoms,
qualified stroke programs, resources and publications. Additionally, this site offers a heart and
stroke encyclopedia online. This allows
patients and practitioners to search terms and get detailed information on all
aspects of CVA. Date Visited:
The National Stroke Association
This site offers
many of the same information as the American Association including signs and
symptoms and general stroke information.
This site does offer some unique information, however, including risks
of stroke, prevention information, and information on rehabilitation and
recovery. To it’s benefit, this site is
offered in English, Spanish and French.
