Germs make us sick!!
Research shows that routine hand washing is one of the best ways to get rid
of germs that cause colds, flu and many other illnesses. With cold and flu season just around the
corner, we want to stay healthy and in school.
Your three-member group is going to learn why we need to wash our hands,
who doesn’t wash their hands, and when and how hands should be washed. After you are hand washing
experts, you’ll share your
expertise with the rest of the school in a Power Point presentation to be given
at the next

be to create a group Power Point presentation to teach students why they need to wash their hands, tell
about who doesn’t wash their hands,
and teach students how to wash their
hands correctly! Three members will be
assigned to each group. One member will
investigate why we wash our hands. The
second member will investigate who does and doesn’t wash their hands, and the
third member will investigate when and how we should wash our hands.
