Images can enhance a web page! With such a variety of websites to choose these pictures from, here’s a list that can help elementary teachers…

MyClipart.com –

This website is handy because it not only lists clipart available on the site it also lists other top sites to find clipart and animations.  There is an option for FAQ about clipart in case the user has problems downloading the images.  That is definitely going to help me! http://www.myclipart.com/

 

The Clipart Gallery offers educational clipart –

This website starts each page with instructions to download the pictures from the site.  That may be what users need to see first, even before the images.  There are animated clips as well as educational tips for instructors.  http://school.discovery.com/clipart/

 

Classroom Clipart: Free Clipart, Illustrations, and Photographs –

Here there is a categorized list of clipart to choose from.  The user can browse this list or perform a keyword search to narrow down their search or search for a specific image.  Real photographs as well as animated art are featured at this site.  This will be useful in all subject areas at any grade level. http://www.classroomclipart.com/

 

A-Z Free Clipart Graphics –

This website lists clipart by category.  There are sites listed to help locate and image which include 3-D images, zodiac signs, and original art. http://www.clipart-graphics.net/

 

Barry’s Clipart Server –

This website popped up in the top two results of a Google and Yahoo search engine search.  There are many images to choose from and there are links to other sites.  There is an option to select various templates as well. http://www.barrysclipart.com/

 

 And again…there are websites where you can pay for clipart like www.clipart.com.  I chose those sites that were FREE!
