Below is a list of websites to find useful and educational clip art. These sites were chosen based on the quantity and quality of clip art.

Clipart ETC- This site is an online service of Florida’s educational technology clearinghouse. The site offers 50,000 pieces of free clip art. The pictures are organized by academic subject and even more specifically organized by topics within that subject. http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/

Free Photos and Clipart- This site provides many different pieces of clip art for educational use. They are all organized and separated by categories. The site provides a lot of American patriotic and history clip art. This site is easy to use and is laid out well.

Clipart Guide- This site provides thousands of pieces of clip art in all different categories. There are alot of cartoon type pieces and they are all organized by subject in a column on the right side of the page. Users have the option to click on a category to find a piece of clip art or to search for a specific picture at the top of the page. This site is very extensive and easy to use. The site requires a subscription, which costs $34.95 for 1 year.

Teacher Files- This site provides many different pieces of clip art for teachers to use. The site provides banners, graphics, and backgrounds for teacher created websites. They are all organized by category with detailed descriptions of what to expect to find in that category.

Awesome Clipart for Kids- This site is a little bit more difficult to navigate, but all the clipart is free. Once you get the hang of navigating the site, there is a wide selection of wonderful pieces of clipart. They are all categorized by subject and then even more specific by what it is a picture of. When a piece of clipart is selected, there are instructions on how to download it, which is helpful.
