Great Sites for Kids
Factmonster.com This is an extremely helpful site for kids. There is a homework helper, almanacs and encyclopedias. There are links to current events, as well as information about math and money, games, puzzles and sports. This website purports to offer “research based and standard aligned” online arcade games. There are games to practice math skills as well as language arts games which feature parts of speech. The standards section of the website shows how the games align with the particular standard.

Younger Kids
