·        The purpose of this lesson is to give students either an introduction to the Jamestown colony or to have a recap of what occurred during the settlement of Jamestown.  In addition to providing support for the social studies unit on Jamestown, this lesson also provides an opportunity for students to use identified links on the Internet and increase their technology experiences.

·        This WebQuest activity needs to be used with students who are familiar with using a computer and exploring the Internet.  If you don’t already, I would suggest bringing your students to the lab a couple of times before using this activity to let them become more familiar with the technology.
