Virtual Fieldtrip

I’m leaving on a jet plane. I don’t know when I’ll be back again. Boy, wouldn’t it be great to hop on the next jet out of BWI and fly to your dream location?

Unfortunately, that is not a reality for most. On the bright side, the Internet will allow you to visit places you have only read about in books. Speaking of books…

We are currently reading William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Want to sit in the Globe Theater? Wonder what the green hills of Scotland look like?  We can experience it all with our virtual field trip to England and Scotland.  So let’s get ready to leave on that Internet jet plane!

Globe Theater

This stop on our virtual tour lets us experience the Globe Theater as an audience member. The panoramic views provide a feel for the size and intricate construction of this famous London theater. Using the mouse pads allows one to zoom in on aspects of interest. View the stage, the yard and the various areas of the gallery.

Be sure to visit the page of Tower Tales, which shares the most haunting of ghost stories surrounding the Tower.
