The Underground Railroad is an important part of America's history.  It was a time of struggle.  It was a time of secrecy.  It was a time for strength.  It was a time to gain FREEDOM! .........

You have been reading about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad this week.  Today you will have an opportunity to walk in the shoes of a black person from the 1800's that was trying to escape to freedom.  YOU will go on the journey of the underground railroad.
