Key Pals & E-Pals

Email is a great way for our students to connect with other students in our classrooms, in another part of the country, or even in another part of the world.

• You can discuss the similarities and differences between two classrooms from different parts of the world.  Discover their likes, dislikes, interests, hobbies, etc.
• You can complete a cultural exchange on a variety of information including culture, language of community, pop culture, and much more!
• Your class, along with another class anywhere around the world (including the town beside you) can complete a collaborative project.
• Your students can participate in a discussion with others around the world in chat rooms.
• Pair students with each other to mentor others
• Email outside experts when doing research
• This is a great way to practice writing skills/technology skills!

International Keypals
This site is an interactive partnership between ePals and School World.  It provides students in 115 countries many opportunities.  For example you can become electronic pen pals, or you can exchange information on projects and activities such as Classroom Pet Exchange, the Flat Stanley Project, or Geo-Mystery Project.  And it is all Free!
